Thought I’d try this cheeky £5.99 ($7.99) from @lidluk and recommended by @richardbampfield @eszterbauerwine uses local grapes from Hungary 🇭🇺 -#palinkaslaki #kleinmiklós #molnarlaki light in body light in colour good acidity and fairly@good tannins. For such a reasonable price and a light summery drink with a touch of pepperyness this is a ‘no-brainer” enjoy with delicate foods and works@well with fish 🐟

#francoisgay Pernand-Vergelesses: Domaine François Gay & Fils 2015 Father and son team, François and Pascal Gay are based in Chorey-les-Beaune and produce a range of red wines from different local appellations (Beaune, Chorey, Savigny, Ladoix, Corton), as well as one white from Pernand-Vergelesses. You have to try this little cheeky number from @cortesanmattia It’s a little agroturismo in Verona over looking the city. It’s only €10 and with shipping to UK (€39 ) only makes this a €17 bottle. Very light fresh and crisp with green apple and citrus on the palate. Good mousse and very enticing acidity. Got for it.
